Please Remember
I hope that you can remember the emotions, feelings and sense of being the United States even if for a short time. Please watch this video Pass it along and leave uus your thoughts..
I remember getting ready for the day, and my daughter coming downstairs to tell us something had happened. We turned on the radio, since we weren't near a TV, and eventually running upstairs to watch the TV. While listening to Katie Couric in her monitone voice trying to tell us what we were seeing. I watched a loop of the firefighters as they actually filmed the first plane flying into the World Trade Center. When I watched the second plane fly into the second World Trade Center Builing I knew it was deliberate! Even as I watched the first tower fall to the ground Katie Couic was still in denial! She said-in so many words "we are not sure what is happening right now". Just like when I was watching the Challenger Disaster with my young children, The Press was then also in denial. I think this is one reason the footage of this tragic event are not shown in the mainstream media anymore. These events, when viewed by the naked eye, can not be denied.
I have many remeberances and this is but one. I may visit again and post other comments about other subjects with ties to the 9/11 attacks.
